I really wanted to start over from scratch. Honestly, this is killing the game for me. This isn't a problem in route and trains I've already done before, but it is in ones that are new, obviously.Įdit 2: The EGS version is having the same problem.
It's only the tutorials that are bugged for me. Interestingly enough, the trains work fine in scenarios. I'm currently redownloading the EGS version to see if this is only an issue with the Steam version for me.but I would really like to not have to continue buying DLC on EGS.Įdit: Migrating my saves over from the EGS version made no difference.

Also, in the case of the Sand Patch Grade tutorial.I'm pretty sure a parking brake wouldn't make the train look like a cat ready to pounce. I'm aware that several trains have parking brakes.but I can't use them since the controls are locked in this situation and since I've played these tutorials all before, I don't remember any of them actually telling you to remove the parking brake anyway. And again, all controls locked, trapped in chair, narration keeps playing. Like the Active Pause in Microsoft Flight Simulator where the weird bug means aerodynamic forces still build up on the airframe even while the sim is supposed to be paused. Upon starting the first tutorial, I followed the directions and got to the part where it tells you to put the throttle at max. I got it installed and decided that instead of continuing where I left off by migrating my save data, I would start over, just to give the game some replayability. For "reasons" I decided to buy the game and all the DLC I had on Steam during the Winter Sale.
To me is like I hire a landscaper to do my yard and they do it for a low fee with the condition that a shady handy man will syat day and night seating on my porch.Hi, I've played the game on EGS for around 25-30hrs now and all has been fine. Personally I stop Steam everytime it tries to run as I highly distrust this company. I do not like programs that try t o take over my computer or my Internet, and the whole process seems just shady practices. I really don't like that, as I have no idea why they need that program running when I am not running the Flight Simulator. Once installed it will run by itself everytime you open ANY web browser.

The part I really don't like is Steam, they force you to install their software, which seems very untrustworty.

I do have Windows 10 and it did run with out any problems, even when I rearely have time to play so I haven't tested more than a few minutes at a time. As you may know already Microsoft abandoned this program a few years ago and it seems like Steam bought it and fix it so it could run in Windows 10. The downside is the company who sells or 'operates' the software now. This is a great game or simulator, I was addicted many years ago and I still like it.
